Welcome to Monday Morning Selling Tips for real estate sellers.
Every Monday we will post a tip to help home sellers possibly sell their home faster and with the potential for top dollar. With inventory reducing there are still so many properties sitting on the market and require a little TLC.
Do you see what I see as a home buyer?
Many people see their own properties as a kingdom or show place rather than see the reality of their home.
What I mean by this is sometimes you have to stand in the the shoes of the home buyer and view your property through their eyes. Walk around the yard and pay attention to the entry way, the paint, yard, landscaping, fencing, etc. etc. Take note on what needs to be spruced up, removed or replaced.
If you have a budget create a list and prioritize.
Once you are finished with the exterior take a look at the interior of the house.
What changes need to be made to make a home buyer fall in love with your home? Simple small changes such as brighter bulbs, replacing screen or freshening up electrical outlet covers can make all the difference in the world.
These types of things could change what a home buyer sees.
Not sure what cosmetic changes you should make?
You can always contact a real estate agent.
A good agent will do this with you while on a marketing appointment.
